Privacy Policy

Stratavore is operated by DCR Technology LLC (“Stratavore”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.

Information we collect

  • Email address — when you subscribe to the free weekly digest or create a paid account.
  • Account information — for paid customers, a user record is created in Amazon Cognito after successful Stripe checkout. We store your email, subscription tier, and preferences. We never see or store your card details; Stripe handles all payment information.
  • Email engagement — standard delivery metadata from Amazon SES (delivered, bounced, complained) so we can keep our sender reputation healthy. We do not track opens or clicks.
  • Site analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal information or build user profiles.

How we use your information

  • To send you the digest(s) you subscribed to.
  • To process payments and provide paid features via Stripe.
  • To respond to support requests and operate the service (error monitoring via Sentry, infrastructure via AWS).

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with advertisers or third-party marketers. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Social media authentication

If we use LinkedIn’s API to publish posts from a Stratavore Page, authentication is performed by a Stratavore administrator. We do not request access to subscribers’ LinkedIn accounts, and no subscriber data is shared with LinkedIn.

Data retention

Subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribed emails are removed from active sending lists but may be retained in suppression records to ensure we do not email you again. Paid account data is retained while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation for tax and compliance records.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe — every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also reply to any digest and we will remove you manually.
  • Access, correct, or delete your data — email us at d@nielryan.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Data storage and security

Data is stored in Amazon Web Services (US East region). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel.

Children

Stratavore is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the newsletter before taking effect.
